intercom installation in Harare

Intercom Installation

An intercom answers one question before you open anything: who is actually standing at the gate? We install audio and video door entry for houses, flats, complexes and offices — from a single handset inside the front door to a multi-unit panel with a button for every flat. The survey settles the details: how far the panel sits from the handset, whether the cable run is practical, whether calls should reach your phone, and what the system needs to release.

We mount the panel at a height that captures faces rather than hairlines, run the cabling neatly instead of across the wall, wire the release into your gate motor or door strike, and test the call, the picture, the audio in both directions and the release before handover. If you want calls to land on your mobile when nobody is home, we set that up and prove it works while we are still on site.

Popular Question

With the right panel, yes. A call to the gate rings on your handset indoors and on your mobile at the same time, so you can see a visitor and let them in whether you are in the kitchen or at work. It needs a reliable internet connection at the property, which we check on the survey rather than discovering on installation day.
That is the point of fitting one. We wire the intercom's release into your gate motor or door strike so a single button lets the visitor in, and we test it at handover. If the gate is not automated yet, we can do both jobs in one visit, which works out cheaper than paying twice for cabling along the same route.
Almost never. We look for an existing conduit, a route along the wall or the path the gate motor cable already takes. Where a wired run genuinely is not practical, a wireless video intercom does the job without breaking paving. We tell you which option your property suits, and what each one costs, before you decide.
Yes. A multi-unit panel at the entrance carries a button per unit, each ringing its own handset, and any tenant can release the gate for their own visitor without opening it for everybody. We label the panel clearly, hand over a wiring diagram for the body corporate or landlord, and can add units later as the building fills up.
